Francine Vermeiren knows what slimming means to the majority of women. When she turned twenty-two, she had only one thing on her mind: losing weight, at any price. New commitment
The financial considerations soon made way for amazement and genuine commitment. Via her new professional activity Francine Vermeiren was introduced to the
Thermophysical Method, in short TPM. She attended a training programme on this Swiss slimming method, so that she could also offer it to her clients. She was impressed with the results that can be achieved through the application of a number of fundamental principles of sports medicine, physiotherapy, dietetics and psychology. Between 1991 and 1996 she 36 Bodystyling institutes in Belgium and 19 in the Netherlands. In 1997, the Bodystyling trademark license was passed on to Luxembourg-based SA Splendido and a number of institutes continued as independent entities. Today, the chain again numbers almost 40 units.
